DisplayWord is what I always wanted to build for our ministry. Built from the experience of real services, real moments, real needs — by someone who steps up to serve with you every week.
Built for real worship services, shaped by how churches actually run.
Hall screens, stage screens, speaker screens and the operator's monitor — every output gets its own picture, and you can run them from different devices. How many screens to hang is up to you: any number can go on a single output. Four outputs come with Connect and Team; Church has two: hall screens and the operator's monitor.
One PC and one projector? That's enough. The Church edition has everything you need for your service.
Show song lyrics with chords on the stage screen. Change the key on the fly with a single click. Save each vocalist's preferred key in the library.
Store everything you need for services: songs, background images, media files. Song books with a powerful editor, including Hebrew support.
Set up frequently used messages — Drums Only, A Cappella, Interlude, Hold the mic closer :) — and send them to any screen with one click.
The app runs on your local Wi-Fi network — no internet needed to run a service. An offline licence never needs the internet at all. A server licence needs one-time online activation and a check-in every two weeks; if there is no network, the app keeps working. Syncing songbooks through a cloud folder (in Team) is the only thing that needs internet; computers on the same network exchange songbooks directly, without it.
The whole team runs the service, each from their own device: the operator from the computer, the worship leader and the preacher from their tablets. In the Team edition.
Pick songs from your library, set keys, arrange the order. Takes 5 minutes before service.
Click through verses and choruses. Each screen updates instantly. Send special blocks to musicians with one tap.
Blackout, quick messages, key changes mid-song — everything you need without breaking the moment.
From a small living room gathering to a full auditorium — DisplayWord adapts to what you have.
One laptop and one TV or projector — that's enough.
Projector for the hall, separate stage monitor, operator's computer — all covered.
Chords, modulation, special blocks — your musicians stay in sync without sheet music on stage.
Built to serve congregations of every size and tradition across the globe.
Church edition is free — no account needed.
I've been a worship minister for many years — playing, singing, running sound, managing the screens. I know what happens when the operator misses a slide, when the key changes mid-song, when the guitarist plays the chorus while the bassist plays a verse, when the preacher grabs the mic and the sound engineer doesn't notice, when the preacher needs his text and it's not there. DisplayWord is everything I wished I had for our services. Built from the experience of real services, real moments, real needs — by someone who steps up to serve with you every week.
DisplayWord is at a pilot stage. It already runs real services, but you will certainly meet rough edges: a button behaving oddly here, something not thought through there. Please forgive that in advance.
We read every bug report and reply quickly — whatever gets in the way of a service is fixed first. It is the first churches that are shaping what DisplayWord becomes next.
