Yes, completely. DisplayWord Church has no trial period, no expiry, no ads, and no credit card required. It includes the Hall screen and full song library — suitable for many smaller churches and house groups.

Is this a subscription? Do I pay every month or year?

No subscriptions. Connect and Team editions are a single one-time payment. You own the software and receive all future updates at no extra charge.

What does "web screens via Wi-Fi" mean in Team?

In Team, DisplayWord acts as a local server. Musicians open a URL on their phone or tablet and see their own custom screen — chords, cues, key — in a regular browser. No app installation needed. Everything stays on your local network; no internet required.

Can I upgrade from Church to Connect later?

Yes. When you're ready, purchase a Connect or Team license — your songs, song books, and settings all carry over. You don't start from scratch.

What operating systems are supported?

DisplayWord runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. It requires .NET 6 (installed automatically if missing). Mac and Linux versions are not planned at this time.

My church can't afford even $29. Is there help available?
