Can the app already be used in a service?

Yes — DisplayWord is already running services in churches. At the same time, this is a pilot version: we are still finding and fixing issues. We reply to problem reports quickly and fix whatever gets in the way of running a service first. Write to us at [email protected].

Is the Church edition really free?

Yes, completely. DisplayWord Church has no trial period, no expiry, no ads, and no credit card required. It includes the Hall screen and full song library — suitable for many smaller churches and house groups.

Subscription or one-time — which is better?

Yes. Connect is $24/month — less than the cost of a weekly coffee — and gives your entire team the hall, stage and speaker outputs, chords, live modulation, and musician cues. Team is $48/month and adds web screens on every musician's phone via Wi-Fi. Annual subscriptions reduce the cost further. Regional pricing is available for Israel, Europe, and developing countries.

What does "web screens via Wi-Fi" mean in Team?

In Team, DisplayWord acts as a local server. A musician opens a URL in the browser on their phone or tablet and sees the active song slide — lyrics with chords. No app installation needed. Everything stays on your local network; no internet required.

Can I upgrade from Church to Connect later?

Yes. When you're ready, subscribe or purchase a Connect or Team license — your songs, song books, and settings all carry over. You don't start from scratch.

What operating systems are supported?

DisplayWord runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Nothing extra to install — the runtime ships inside the installer. A macOS version is in development; Linux support is not planned at this time.

My church can't afford a subscription. Is there help available?

Yes. If your church is in a low-income country or has genuine financial need, reach out to us at [email protected]. We want DisplayWord to serve every church, regardless of resources.
